Ingredients:

  1. 1 pound of ground turkey
  2. or beef One little onion,
  3. diced finely
  4. One bell peppe, cut finely
  5. Two minced garlic cloves
  6. One cup of ketchup Worcestershire sauce,
  7. two tablespoons Smoked paprika,
  8. 1 tablespoon One teaspoon of chili powder
  9. To taste, add salt and pepper.
  10. Four burger buns or hoagie rolls
  11. Four provolone cheese slices
  12. Cooking with olive oil

Directions:

  • Prepare the meat: Heat a little olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Sauté the bell pepper and diced onion for approximately five minutes, or until they are tender. After adding the minced garlic, simmer for one more minute.
  • Brown the Meat: Put the turkey or ground beef in the skillet. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula, until golden. If needed, drain any extra fat. Stir in smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, chili powder, salt, and pepper to add the sauce. Stir thoroughly and simmer, stirring regularly, until the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. To make the rolls, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while the mixture simmers. Place the burger buns or hoagie rolls on a baking pan after slicing them in half.
  • Put the Sandwiches Together: When the meat mixture is finished, heap a heaping portion onto each roll. Add a provolone cheese slice on top. Melt the Cheese: Put the baking sheet in the oven and let it melt and bubble for about five minutes.
  • Serve: Take out of the oven, give it a minute to cool, then serve hot.
