A delightful fusion of sweet and savory flavors. The succulent salmon is glazed with a mixture of honey and pineapple, creating a dish that’s both delicious and refreshing.”
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Sliced pineapple and chopped fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
- Brush the honey pineapple glaze over the salmon fillets, reserving some for basting.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, basting with the remaining glaze halfway through cooking.
- Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with sliced pineapple and chopped fresh cilantro if desired.
