How to Get Rid of Blackheads Organically
Although blackheads can be challenging to get rid of, harsh treatments aren’t the only option. Alternatively, natural solutions are gentler on the face and can efficiently remove blackheads. To keep your pores clear and unclogged, try these do-it-yourself techniques at home.
1. Making Exfoliating Soda Paste
- Baking soda is a natural exfoliator that helps absorb excess oil and exfoliate dead skin cells, both of which are factors in the development of blackheads. One tablespoon of baking soda and two teaspoons of water are combined to create a basic baking soda paste, which is then gently massaged onto the afflicted areas for two to three minutes. After rinsing with warm water, pat dry your skin. You can apply this cure once or twice a week.
2. Milk Pore Strips with Honey
- Blackheads are lifted out by a natural pore strip made from milk and honey. While milk’s lactic acid helps soften the skin and makes blackhead removal simpler, honey has antimicrobial qualities. Apply a warm solution of 1 tablespoon honey and 1 teaspoon milk to your skin, let it sit for 20 minutes, and then cover it with a cotton strip. To close pores, gently remove the strip and wash your face with cold water.
3. Pore-tightening Egg White Mask
- You may have smoother, clearer skin by using egg whites to tighten pores and draw out impurities. Before applying a layer to your face, whisk one egg white until it becomes frothy. Cover the egg white with tissue, then cover with another layer. Peel off the mask and rinse with warm water after it has dried completely, which should take about 20 to 30 minutes. You can use this mask once a week to get rid of blackheads.
4. Mild Scrub with Lemon Juice
- Vitamin C-rich lemon juice has natural exfoliating qualities that help skin become clearer and more radiant. To make a basic scrub, mix equal parts raw sugar and lemon juice, then gently massage into areas that are prone to blackheads. After a few minutes, rinse with cold water to expose more youthful skin. Blackheads can be avoided with twice-weekly use of this scrub.
