Ingredients:

1 large piece of fresh ginger (about 100-150g)

2 cups water

Juice of 1 lemon (optional, for extra flavor)

Optional: A few mint leaves or a pinch of cinnamon for added taste

Instructions:

Wash & Peel the Ginger:

Wash the ginger root thoroughly.

Peel off the skin using a spoon or knife.

Grate or Chop the Ginger:

Finely grate the ginger, or chop it into small pieces if using a blender.

Blend or Boil:

Option 1 – Blender Method:

Place the grated/chopped ginger into a blender.

Add 2 cups of water.

Blend well until the ginger is fully broken down.

Option 2 – Boil Method:

Add the chopped ginger to 2 cups of water.

Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Let cool slightly.

Strain:

Use a fine sieve or cheesecloth to strain the juice into a jar or bottle, removing the ginger pulp.

Optional Add-ins:

Squeeze in the juice of 1 fresh lemon for extra flavor.

Add mint leaves, cinnamon, or even turmeric if desired (still without sugar).

How to Enjoy:
