In an air fryer, sausages
A quick and simple way to achieve crispy, juicy sausages without all the extra fat and calories from typical frying methods is to cook them in an air fryer. The following is a basic guide on air-frying sausages:
- For five minutes, preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the sausages in a single layer within the air fryer basket. To ensure uniform cooking, avoid packing the basket too full.
- Cook, turning the sausages halfway through, for 8 to 12 minutes. The size and kind of sausages you’re using will determine how long they take to cook.
- Before serving, make sure the sausages’ internal temperature has reached 160°F (71°C) with a meat thermometer.
- Before serving, take the sausages out of the air fryer and give them a few minutes to rest.
- Note: You might need to extend the cooking time by a few minutes if you’re cooking frozen sausages.
- Before serving, make sure the sausages are cooked through by using a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
