Irresistible Chocolate Delight Cake
Ingredients:
For the Chocolate Biscuit:
- 80g flour
- 30g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 180g sugar
- 50ml milk
- 50ml vegetable oil
For the Chocolate Glaze:
- 40g cocoa powder
- 50g sugar
- 200ml milk
- 20g butter
For the Cream:
- 300ml sour cream
- 100g cream cheese
- 3-4 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
For Soaking:
- 50ml milk
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Grease and line a 24×24 cm square baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add milk and vegetable oil, mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let it cool.
- Prepare the glaze: In a saucepan, combine cocoa, sugar, milk, and butter. Cook until thickened, then let it cool.
- For the cream, whisk sour cream, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cocoa together.
- Once the biscuit has cooled, cut it into two layers. Soak each layer with milk.
- Spread half of the cream over one layer, place the other layer on top, and cover the cake with the remaining cream.
- Pour the cooled glaze over the cake.
- Chill in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
