I’ve been making these for years and people lose their mind over them every time. They seem like a special homemade treat

Ingredient Quantity
Unsalted Butter 4 tablespoons
Mini Marshmallows 1 package (10 oz)
Rice Krispies Cereal 6 cups
For the Banana Pudding Layer:

Ingredient Quantity
Instant Banana Pudding Mix 1 package (3.4 oz)
Cold Milk 2 cups
Sliced Bananas 1 cup
For Topping (Optional):

Whipped Cream
Instructions:
Make the Rice Krispie Layer (5 minutes):

In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter.
Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until they are completely melted and smooth.
Remove the pan from the heat and pour in the Rice Krispie cereal.
Using a spatula or wax paper on your hands, gently fold the cereal into the marshmallow mixture until everything is evenly coated.
Press the Rice Krispie Layer (2 minutes):

Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Press the Rice Krispie mixture evenly into the prepared pan. You can use a spatula or wax paper to help spread and compact the mixture.
Let the Rice Krispie layer cool and set completely at room temperature.

Prepare the Banana Pudding Layer (3 minutes):

In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
Gently fold the sliced bananas into the pudding mixture.
Assemble and Chill (2 hours):

Once the Rice Krispie layer is set, spread the banana pudding mixture evenly over the top.
Cover the baking dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the pudding layer is firm. Ideally, chill for 2 hours for the best texture.
Serve and Enjoy!

Cut the Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats into squares for serving.
If desired, top each square with a dollop of whipped cream before serving.
