Jeweled Coconut Drops

Sweet, chewy coconut delights with a gorgeous, vibrant twist are Jeweled Coconut Drops! They’re ideal for serving as a sweet snack or for bringing some color to any dessert table. To make these wonderful coconut drops, follow this easy and tasty recipe:

Components:

  1. 2. Half a cup of sweetened coconut shreds
  2. 1/4 cup condensed milk that has been sweetened
  3. One-fourth cup heavy cream
  4. One teaspoon of vanilla extract
  5. 1/4 teaspoon optional almond extract
  6. Half a cup of mixed dried fruit, including chopped pineapple, raisins, candied cherries, and other vibrant dry fruits
  7. 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts, almonds, or pistachios)
  8. 1/4 cup of optional tiny chocolate chips
  9. Half a cup of powdered sugar (optional for rolling)

Directions:

  • To make the coconut mixture, put the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and shredded coconut in a big bowl. Mix thoroughly until everything is completely combined.
  • Put the seasoning in: Add the almond extract (if using) and vanilla extract and stir until smooth and thoroughly blended.
  • Add the nuts and fruits and stir: Add chopped dried fruit, nuts, and micro chocolate chips (if using) and fold gently. The dried fruits will give the coconut drips a “jewel-like” look.
  • Create the droplets: Using a spoon or your hands, create little mounds or drops out of the coconut mixture. Generally, 1 tablespoon per drop works nicely, but you can make them as big or small as you like.
  • Optional Dust with powdered sugar: Lightly dust the drops with powdered sugar to give them a lovely finish and a hint of sweetness.
  • To chill, arrange the coconut drops on a silicone mat or parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Put them in the fridge until they are hard, about 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Serve: The coconut drops are ready to eat once they have chilled and solidified. Serve them on any occasion as a vibrant, sugary treat!
