Cook Time: 15-20 minutes
Total Time: 25-30 minutes
Components:
Four skinless and boneless chicken breasts
Two tablespoons of olive oil
To taste, add salt and pepper.
Half a cup of Dijon mustard
One cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup of chicken broth
Two minced garlic cloves
One tablespoon of fresh or dried thyme
One tablespoon of lemon juice
One tablespoon of butter
Directions:
Prepare the chicken:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
After adding salt and pepper to the chicken breasts, fry them for 6–7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden. Take out and place aside from the skillet.
Prepare the Sauce with Creamy Mustard:
Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and cook for one minute, or until fragrant.
Stir the Dijon mustard into the garlic mixture.
After adding the chicken broth, cook it for two to three minutes to slightly decrease it.
After adding the lemon juice, heavy cream, and thyme, simmer for five to seven minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
To complete the sauce and give it a rich, creamy finish, add butter
Mix:
Put the chicken breasts back in the skillet and scatter the creamy mustard sauce over them. To absorb all those flavors, let them boil in the sauce for a further two to three minutes.
Present and Savor:
Serve your succulent chicken with your preferred sides, such as rice, steamed vegetables, or mashed potatoes. Enjoy the rich tastes of the chicken after drizzling it with the creamy mustard sauce!
