Ingredients:
2 cups milk (whole milk or full-fat preferred)
4 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
4 tablespoons corn flour (cornstarch)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional for extra flavor)
1 cup chopped fruit (banana, mango, apple, berries — use ripe and soft fruits)
Butter or oil (for greasing the dish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Milk Mixture (Time: 0–5 min)
In a saucepan (off heat), whisk together milk, sugar, and corn flour until smooth with no lumps.
Turn on medium heat and cook while stirring continuously until the mixture thickens like custard (about 4–5 minutes).
Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract (optional).
Assemble the Dessert (Time: 5–10 min)
Grease small ramekins, a ceramic baking dish, or silicone muffin cups with a bit of butter/oil.
Place chopped fruit evenly at the bottom of each dish.
Pour the warm milk mixture over the fruit until just covered.
Tap gently to remove any air bubbles.
Air Fry (Time: 10–35 min)
Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 3 minutes.
Carefully place the filled ramekins or dish into the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 20–25 minutes, until the tops are firm and lightly golden.
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Chill for 30 minutes for a firmer texture.
Best Fruit Options:
