Loaded Mashed Potato Balls recipe
I was needing something late at night, but when I found out that I could combine my two favorite comfort meals into these enticing nibbles, my craving evolved into an obsession. Seeing a movie will never be the same again after this.
Ingredients:
For the potato balls:
– 4 cups mashed potatoes, cold
– 1 pound ground beef, cooked and seasoned
– 1 cup corn kernels
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 3 eggs, divided
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 2 cups breadcrumbs
– Vegetable oil for frying
– Salt and pepper to taste
For the seasoning:
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste

Make the filling by preparing:
In a bowl, combine one egg with cool mashed potatoes.
Add some salt and pepper to taste – Place in the refrigerator for half an hour
Make the balls:
Make a depression in the middle of the potato mixture using two tablespoons of it, and then fill it with ground beef and corn.
Add cheese, then seal the mixture and roll it into balls.
Establish a station for breading:
First, put the flour in the bowl. Next, beat the eggs that are left in the second bowl. Finally, combine the breadcrumbs and seasonings in the third bowl.
Roll the balls in bread:
Roll each ball in flour, then dip it in eggs that have been beaten.
Coat with breadcrumbs that have been seasoned
Get the balls to fry:
Fry in batches until they are golden brown, then drain on paper towels. – Preheat the oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Serve:
For garnish, sprinkle some fresh parsley over top.
Serve hot with your preferred dipping sauce.
