Tips for the Best Mediterranean Lettuce-Wrapped Burger
Crisp Lettuce Wraps: Use large iceberg or romaine lettuce leaves and chill them before wrapping to keep them crisp.
Juicy Burgers: Don’t overmix the ground meat to prevent tough burgers. Cook on medium heat for even cooking.
Flavor Boost: Let the meat mixture rest for 15 minutes before cooking to enhance the Mediterranean spices.
Customize Your Toppings: Add hummus, roasted red peppers, or cucumber slices for extra freshness.
Prevent a Soggy Wrap: Pat the lettuce leaves dry before wrapping and layer with tzatziki last to avoid excess moisture.
