🧾 Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples (peeled and chopped)

  • 2 eggs

  • 100 g (½ cup) sugar

  • 100 ml (½ cup) milk

  • 100 ml (½ cup) vegetable oil (or melted butter)

  • 180 g (1½ cups) all-purpose flour

  • 10 g (2 tsp) baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • Pinch of salt


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
    Grease a baking dish (about 9×13 inch / 22×33 cm).

  2. Prepare apples:
    Peel, core, and chop apples into small cubes. Spread them evenly in the baking dish.

  3. Make the batter (takes 3–5 minutes):
    In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until combined.
    Add milk, oil, vanilla, and mix.
    Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth (don’t overmix).

  4. Assemble:
    Pour the batter evenly over the apples.

  5. Bake:
    Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Cool slightly before serving.
    Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
