Intro

If you’re a fan of creamy Alfredo pasta and baked stuffed shells, this recipe takes things up a notch with a “million-dollar” twist! These shells are stuffed with a luscious blend of shredded chicken, ricotta, cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan, then smothered in Alfredo sauce. Cooking them in the air fryer gives you the same bubbly, cheesy baked effect as the oven but in less time. Perfect for a cozy dinner, family gatherings, or when you want something extra comforting and indulgent.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 15–18 minutes (air fryer)

Total Time: ~35 minutes

Servings: 4–6

Ingredients

20 jumbo pasta shells (cooked al dente)

2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)

1 cup ricotta cheese

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg (to bind filling)

2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Salt & pepper to taste

Cooking spray or melted butter (for the air fryer pan/foil dish)

Instructions

Prepare the Shells:

Cook jumbo pasta shells until just al dente (they will cook more in the air fryer). Drain and set aside.

Make the Filling:

In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, ricotta, cream cheese, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well blended.

Stuff the Shells:

Spoon the chicken-cheese mixture into each shell generously.

Place them in a lightly greased air fryer-safe baking dish or foil pan.

Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.

Air Fry:

Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.

Place the dish in the air fryer basket.

Cook for 15–18 minutes, until cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.

Serve:

Garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve warm with garlic bread or a fresh green salad.

Tips & Variations

Add crisp bacon bits inside the filling for an extra smoky “million-dollar” flavor.

Use spinach or sautéed mushrooms in the filling for a veggie boost.

Swap Alfredo with a creamy tomato sauce for a rosé-style version.

Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer at 320°F for 5–6 minutes.
