Natural Onion Juice Recipe for Eye Health (External Use Only)💡 Best used to support general wellness and possibly as a nutritional tonic, or external compress — not as eye drops unless under professional medical supervision.

 Ingredients:

  • 1 small fresh red or white onion
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional, for internal use or compress use)
  • Sterile cheesecloth or fine strainer

 Preparation:

Peel and wash the onion thoroughly.

Grate or blend the onion finely.

Strain the juice using a clean cheesecloth or a fine strainer into a small sterile glass container.

(Optional) Mix with raw honey if using internally (e.g., ½ teaspoon onion juice + 1 teaspoon honey).

 Uses:

🔸 EXTERNAL COMPRESS (FOR TIRED OR PUFFY EYES):

Soak a clean cotton pad in diluted onion juice (1 part onion juice + 5 parts cooled boiled water).

Gently place on closed eyelids only for 5–10 minutes.

Rinse eyes with cool water after use.

🔸 INTERNAL USE (IMMUNE & VISION SUPPORT):

Mix ½ teaspoon onion juice with 1 teaspoon honey.

Take once daily on an empty stomach.

This may support overall eye and immune health due to sulfur compounds, quercetin, and antioxidants.

Do NOT Do This:

❌ Do not put pure onion juice directly into your eyes — it can cause intense burning, irritation, or damage.

❌ Avoid if you have eye infections, allergies, or eye sensitivity.

 Potential Benefits (when used properly):

  • Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties
  • May help reduce puffiness or irritation around the eyes
  • Antioxidants like quercetin may support long-term eye and immune health

 Warnings:

  • Always do a patch test before applying anything near your eyes.
  • For any vision problems, always consult a qualified optometrist or ophthalmologist.
  • Onion juice can cause burning, tearing, or redness if it comes into contact with the eye directly.
