No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Bars (Air Fryer-Assisted Version)

These no-bake chocolate oatmeal bars are a perfect combination of creamy, chewy, and chocolatey. With just a few pantry staples, you can whip up this satisfying treat in under 10 minutes. The air fryer is used to melt the ingredients safely and evenly—no stovetop or microwave needed!

Ingredients
For an 8×8-inch pan:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups quick oats (or rolled oats pulsed in a blender)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter (for topping)
Instructions
Melt Wet Ingredients in the Air Fryer (4–5 minutes)
In a heatproof, air fryer-safe bowl or dish, combine:
Butter, 1/2 cup peanut butter, brown sugar, and honey
Place the bowl in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 4–5 minutes, stirring halfway, until melted and combined.
Carefully remove the bowl (use oven mitts) and stir in vanilla extract.
Add Oats (2 minutes)
Stir quick oats into the warm mixture until fully coated and thick.
Press Into Pan (2 minutes)
Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
Press the oat mixture evenly into the pan using a spatula or your hands.
Make the Chocolate Topping (2–3 minutes)
In a small bowl, combine chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter.
Return to the air fryer and melt at 300°F for 2–3 minutes, stirring until smooth.
Pour and spread the chocolate mixture over the oat base.
Chill (1–2 hours)
Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours, or until fully set.
Once firm, lift out of the pan and slice into bars.
