Nut and Fruit Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 100 g dates
  • 70 g plums
  • 45 g dried cranberries
  • 50 g raisins
  • 80 g dried apricots
  • 50 g pumpkin seeds
  • 70 g walnuts, chopped
  • 75 g almonds, roasted
  • 35 g sesame seeds (set aside a little for decoration)
  • 20 g pine nuts
  • 20 g oat flakes

Instructions

Prepare the Dried Fruits:

  1. Wash the dates, plums, dried cranberries, raisins, and dried apricots thoroughly.
  2. Soak the washed dried fruits in cold water for 15-20 minutes to remove preservatives and activate beneficial substances.
  3. After soaking, drain and pat dry.

Prepare the Nuts and Seeds:

  1. Chop 70 g of walnuts with a knife.
  2. Lightly roast 75 g of almonds in a pan.
  3. Fry 35 g of sesame seeds until they are lightly golden. Set aside a small portion for decoration.

Process the Fruits:

  1. Remove the seeds from the dates.
  2. Cut the dried apricots into small pieces.
  3. Add the dried cranberries, raisins, and chopped dried apricots to a large bowl.
  4. In a blender, grind the dates and plums until a paste forms.

Combine Ingredients:

  1. In the bowl with the dried fruits, add the pumpkin seeds, chopped walnuts, roasted almonds, fried sesame seeds, pine nuts, and oat flakes.
  2. Add the date and plum paste to the mixture.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.

Form and Chill:

  1. Create a cylindrical shape with the mixture.
  2. Roll the cylinder in the reserved sesame seeds to coat it.
  3. Place the cylinder in the freezer for 2 hours to set.

Serve:

  1. After 2 hours, remove the cylinder from the freezer.
  2. Cut it into bite-sized pieces.
