Orange Creamsicle Dream Pie (Air Fryer Recipe)
Introduction:
Imagine the tangy sweetness of orange creamsicles blended into a luscious no-bake pie with a smooth, mousse-like texture and a buttery graham cracker crust. This Orange Creamsicle Dream Pie is the perfect dessert for sunny days, spring brunches, or any time you’re craving something cool and nostalgic.
The air fryer helps you get a perfectly toasted crust without heating up your whole kitchen—and since the filling is no-bake, it comes together in minutes before chilling into creamy perfection. It’s light, refreshing, and totally addictive.
Ingredients
For the Crust (Air Fryer):
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
For the Filling:
1 (3 oz) box orange-flavored gelatin (Jell-O)
1/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup orange juice (preferably fresh)
1 tsp orange zest (optional, for extra zing)
1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Equipment:
Air fryer
7-inch pie pan or air fryer-safe dish
Mixing bowls
Hand mixer or whisk
Instructions
Make the Crust
In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until evenly moistened.
Press mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of your pie pan.
Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Place pie pan in the air fryer and cook crust for 6–8 minutes, until lightly golden and set.
Let crust cool completely before adding filling.
Make the Orange Creamsicle Filling
In a bowl, whisk together gelatin and boiling water until dissolved.
Stir in cold water and orange juice. Let cool to room temperature.
In a separate large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add cooled orange gelatin mixture, orange zest (if using), and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and fluffy.
Assemble & Chill
Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
Smooth the top and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours, or until set. (Overnight is best!)
Optional Toppings:
Extra whipped topping
Orange zest or slices
Crushed vanilla cookies or extra graham crumbs
A light drizzle of orange syrup or white chocolate
Storage:
Store in fridge, covered, for up to 4–5 days.
Freezes beautifully—wrap slices and freeze for a frozen creamsicle treat!
Tips:
Make it extra creamy with a splash of heavy cream during mixing.
Want more orange punch? Add 1/2 tsp orange extract.
Use a pre-made graham cracker crust for a no-bake shortcut—just chill or air fry briefly to firm it up.
