Ingredients

  1. Four bell peppers
  2. Lean ground beef, one pound
  3. One teaspoon of olive oil
  4. One little onion, chopped
  5. One teaspoon of finely chopped garlic
  6. One cup of tomato sauce
  7. One teaspoon of Italian spice
  8. Two cups of cooked rice
  9. Two cups of Colby Jack cheese
  10. One tablespoon of fresh parsley from Italian leaves

Directions

  • To prepare the bell peppers, cut them in half lengthwise, then scoop out the seeds and insides.
  • Add the olive oil, onion, and garlic to a medium saucepan and sauté over medium-high heat for two minutes. Cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink.
  • Mix the ground meat mixture with the tomato sauce and seasoning. Take the pot off of the hob.
  • Stir only till incorporated with the ground beef mixture after the rice has been cooked.
  • Place the peppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer after stuffing them with the meat mixture.
  • Cook for 10 minutes at 360 degrees Fahrenheit. After adding cheese to the peppers, simmer for a further two to three minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
  • Before serving, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top.
