For the Caramel Sauce:
- 200 g sugar (7.1 oz) (about 1 cup)
- 100 ml water (3.4 fl oz) (about 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon)
- 7 g salt (0.2 oz) (about 1/2 teaspoon)
- 500 ml whipping cream, divided (16.8 fl oz) (about 2 cups + 2 tablespoons)
- 20 ml lemon juice (0.7 fl oz) (about 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon)
For the Cinnamon Cream:
- 300 ml whipping cream (11 fl oz) (about 1 1/4 cups)
- 80 g powdered sugar (2.8 oz) (about 1/2 cup)
- Pinch of cinnamon
Directions
- Prepare the Apples:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Core 4 medium apples, removing seeds but keeping them whole.
- Melt 20 g of butter in a small pan over medium heat. Stir in 30 g brown sugar and 10 g cinnamon, cook until bubbling, then let cool slightly.
- Prepare the Apples:
