Quick and Delicious Tortilla Recipe Ready in 10 Minutes
Ingredients:
- ½ Onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 200g Ground beef
- Salt, black pepper, and paprika
- Olive oil
- 10g Parsley or green onion
- 2 Tortillas
- Mozzarella cheese
Preparation:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Thinly dice the onion and add it to the pan. Fry for about 2 minutes until translucent.
Adding Garlic and Tortilla:
- Crush the garlic cloves and add them to the pan.
- Cut an inch around one of the tortillas. Dice the leftover tortilla and add it to the pan. Fry for an additional 2 minutes.
Cooking Ground Beef:
- Add ground beef to the pan. Fry for 3-5 minutes until the beef is cooked through.
Seasoning and Herbs:
- Season the beef with salt, black pepper, and paprika to taste.
- Finely chop parsley or green onion and add it to the pan. Mix well and set the mixture aside.
Assembling the Tortilla:
- Take one whole tortilla (23cm) and place the cooked beef mixture inside.
- Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese over the beef.
- Cover the beef with the smaller diced tortilla and add more mozzarella cheese around the edges.
Folding and Frying:
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward to seal it like a parcel.
- Cover the folded tortilla with a plate to hold its shape.
Cooking the Tortilla:
- In the same pan over medium heat, add olive oil or butter.
- Use the plate to flip the tortilla over into the pan.
- Brush some oil on top of the tortilla and fry for 3 minutes.
Final Steps:
- Flip the tortilla again using the plate and fry for another 2-3 minutes until both sides are crispy and golden brown.
- Serve and Enjoy!
- Once done, transfer the tortilla to a plate.
