Recipe for Creamy Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
- Two diced chicken breasts
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
- Two teaspoons of olive oil
- Three minced garlic cloves
- One cup of heavy cream
- One cup of chicken broth
- Half a cup of cherry tomatoes
- Two cups of spinach
- One teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces of pasta, such as fettuccine or penne
- For serving, grated Parmesan cheese
- Garnish with fresh basil, if desired.
Directions:
Prepare the pasta:
- Pasta should be cooked as directed on the package until it is al dente. After draining, set away.
Cook the chicken:
- Heat the olive oil in a big skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped chicken to the skillet after seasoning it with salt and pepper.
- Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and browned. Take out and place aside from the skillet.
Prepare the sauce:
- Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir to mix after adding the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
Include the vegetables:
- To the sauce, add the spinach, cherry tomatoes, and Italian spice. Simmer for 3–4 minutes, or until the spinach wilts and the tomatoes are tender.
Mix:
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the cooked chicken. Mix everything together until the creamy sauce coats everything.
Serve:
- If preferred, top with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese and serve warm.
