Recipe for Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Components:

Regarding the pasta:

  1. 12 oz (340g) of your preferred pasta, such as fettuccine
  2. For pasta water, add salt.

Regarding the Shrimp:

  • One pound (450 grams) of large, peeled and deveined shrimp
  • Two teaspoons of butter
  • Two teaspoons of olive oil
  • Three minced garlic cloves
  • To taste, add salt and pepper.
  • 1/4 teaspoon of optional paprika (for added color and flavor)

Regarding the Alfredo sauce:

  • 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
  • Half a cup of butter
  • 3/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • Two minced garlic cloves
  • To taste, add salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or basil, if desired.

Directions:

First, prepare the pasta.

  • Bring a big saucepan of salted water to a boil in order to boil the pasta. Pasta should be cooked as directed on the package until it is al dente. After draining, set away.

Cook the shrimp in step two.

  • Shrimp are sautéed by heating the butter and olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Cook the minced garlic for around 30 seconds until it becomes fragrant.

  • Add the Parmesan: Whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese gradually, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and creamy. To taste, add salt and pepper.

Step 4: Mix the sauce, pasta, and shrimp.

  • Pasta Toss: Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce to ensure it is uniformly coated.
