Do you want to know how to air cook an entire chicken? Compared to oven-roasted chicken, air-fried whole chicken is much simpler and requires less time.

Ingredients

  1. Whole Roaster Chicken, 4.5–5 Lb
  2. One-fourth cup of olive oil
  3. Two tablespoons of salt
  4. One teaspoon of seasoning

Directions

  • If the chicken is frozen, let it fully thaw. Remove the raw chicken’s organs and gizzard. Truss the legs if you want to.
  • Apply oil, salt, and seasoning to the entire bird. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket that has been oiled, breast side down.
  • Air fry chicken for 45 minutes at 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • After flipping, air fry the chicken for a further 15 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. (A five-pound chicken typically takes 55 to 70 minutes.)

Remarks

  • *Add your preferred seasoning. Two Snooty Chefs Herbs de Poulet is what I use. Any Italian or poultry season will do. If the seasoning calls for salt, adjust the amount.
