Ingredients
For the Sausage Gravy
½ lb (225g) breakfast sausage
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups milk (whole milk preferred)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Pizza Base
1 store-bought pizza dough (or 2 small naan/flatbreads for shortcut)
1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing crust)
Toppings
3 large eggs, scrambled softly (not overcooked, they’ll finish in air fryer)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar & mozzarella)
2 strips cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
2 tbsp diced green onions or peppers (optional)
Instructions
Make the sausage gravy (10 minutes)
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
Push sausage to the side, add butter, and stir in flour to form a roux.
Slowly whisk in milk until thickened into a creamy gravy.
Season with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
Prepare pizza base (5 minutes)
Roll out pizza dough into small air fryer–sized rounds (about 6–7 inches each).
Or use naan/flatbread for a shortcut.
Lightly brush crust with olive oil.
Assemble pizza (3 minutes)
Spread a generous layer of sausage gravy as the “sauce.”
Add scrambled eggs on top.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Add optional toppings like bacon, green onions, or peppers.
Air fry (12–15 minutes)
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 2 minutes.
Place pizza in the basket (one at a time for best results).
Cook for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
For extra crispiness, cook 1–2 more minutes.
Serve
Remove, slice, and enjoy hot!
Serving Suggestions
Serve with fresh fruit or a side salad for balance.
Drizzle with a touch of hot sauce or sriracha for spice lovers.
