Sausage Hashbrown Bites in the Air Fryer
Introduction
Sausage Hash brown Bites combine savory sausage, crispy hashbrowns, melty cheese, and seasonings into addictive bite-sized rounds. Using the air fryer cuts down on cook time and oil, making these bites perfectly crispy without deep frying. Ideal for meal prep, breakfast on the go, or as a party-friendly finger food.

Ingredients
Makes 18–20 bites:
1 cup breakfast sausage (ground or removed from casing)
2 cups frozen shredded hashbrowns (thawed and squeezed dry)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 large eggs
1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Olive oil spray
Instructions
Cook the Sausage (5 minutes)
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked.
Drain any grease and let it cool slightly.
Mix the Ingredients (5 minutes)
In a large bowl, combine:
Cooked sausage
Thawed & squeezed hashbrowns
Shredded cheese
Eggs
Green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Mix until well combined. Mixture should be slightly sticky but hold together when pressed.
Form Bites (5 minutes)
Scoop about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of the mixture and shape into small balls or flattened rounds.
Place them on a parchment-lined tray or plate.
Air Fry (10–12 minutes per batch)
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
Lightly spray the basket with oil.
Place bites in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
Air fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp.
They’re done when golden and cooked through.
