Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)

  • 2 cups (240g) Bisquick baking mix

  • 1 cup (120g) shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup (120ml) milk

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preheat Oven & Prepare Muffin Tin

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray or line it with paper liners.

Cook the Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes).

Drain excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.

Prepare the Batter

In a large bowl, whisk together Bisquick, milk, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.

Stir in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese until well combined.

Fill Muffin Cups

Divide the batter evenly among the 12 muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.

Sprinkle extra cheese on top if desired.

Bake

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool & Serve

Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
