Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1/4 cup water
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Ground Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning mix and water to the beef. Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Prepare the Dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a flat surface. Press the seams together to form a single sheet of dough.
Assemble the Pinwheels:
Spread the taco beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, and optional toppings (diced tomatoes and sliced black olives) over the beef mixture.
Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from one of the long sides. Slice the log into 1-inch pinwheels.
Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Air Fry the Pinwheels:
Place the pinwheels in the air fryer basket, making sure to leave some space between each pinwheel for even cooking.
Cook the pinwheels in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Cool and Serve:
Remove the pinwheels from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
Note:
Cooking times may vary depending on the air fryer model, so keep an eye on the pinwheels during the cooking process to avoid overcooking.
