Savory Scallion Chicken Delight
This mouthwatering masterpiece combines tender, slow-cooked chicken, smothered in a rich, savory sauce, topped with crunchy, caramelized scallions. Each bite is a symphony of flavors and textures
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 bunch of scallions, sliced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
How to proceed:
Within a large skillet, bring the vegetable oil to a temperature of medium heat.
Sauté the garlic and ginger for approximately one minute, or until the aroma is released.
To ensure that the chicken thighs are cooked through and have a golden brown color, place them in the skillet and cook them for five to seven minutes on each side.
Soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and sesame oil should be combined in a small basin and stirred together.
The chicken should be thoroughly coated with the sauce mixture after it has been poured over it and
allowed to simmer for two to three minutes.
Continue to sauté the sliced scallions for one more minute after adding them to the skillet before serving.
Add salt and pepper to taste, and serve the dish while it is still hot.
