Simple Garlic Butter Cheese Bites: A Perfect Appetizer Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite cheese blend)
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup milk (whole milk works best for richness)
- 1/4 cup melted butter (plus extra for brushing)
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
To make the ideal garlic butter cheese nibbles, just follow these steps:
First, get the dough ready.
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt in a large basin. Combine these dry ingredients and stir until well mixed. This serves as your dough’s foundation.
Step 2: Include the cheese
Then combine the flour mixture with the shredded mozzarella cheese. To ensure that the cheese is equally distributed throughout the dough, carefully mix. This will guarantee that there is a wonderfully cheesy center in every mouthful.
Step 3: Add the butter and milk.
Add the melted butter and milk gradually. Until the dough starts to come together, stir the ingredients. Soft but not sticky is the ideal consistency for the dough. You may add a touch extra milk if it’s too dry and a bit more flour if it’s too sticky.
Step Four: Form the Bits
Set the oven temperature to 375°F, or 190°C. Roll out little bits of dough (approximately 1 to 2 tablespoons each) into balls while the oven is heating up. Arrange these dough balls, a little apart, on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Step 5: Perfectly Bake
The cheese bits should be baked for 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the exterior is golden brown and the middle is cooked through. The outside should be crunchy and buttery, while the cheese within should be melted.
Step 6: Get the Garlic Butter ready.
Make the garlic butter while the bits are baking. Combine the melted butter, minced parsley, and garlic powder in a small bowl. After the cheese nibbles are taken out of the oven, they will be coated with this tasty concoction.
Step 7: Apply Garlic Butter on the Bites
After baking, take the cheese bits out of the oven and liberally coat them with the garlic butter mixture. To get the most taste, cover every mouthful. The butter will melt and the delicious garlic will be absorbed by the warmth from the bites.
Step 8: Present and Savor
Serve the garlic butter cheese nibbles warm, garnished with a little more parsley. Ranch dressing, marinara sauce, or even a simple salad on the side go very well with them.
Have fun!
