Tips and Variations
1. Use fresh broccoli: Fresh broccoli has a better texture and flavor than frozen broccoli.
2. Choose the right mushrooms: Button, cremini, or shiitake mushrooms work well in this recipe.
3. Toast the cashews: Toasting the cashews enhances their flavor and texture.
4. Customize with aromatics: Add minced garlic, ginger, or shallots to the stir-fry for extra flavor.
5. Use different seasonings: Experiment with soy sauce, oyster sauce (optional), or sesame oil for a unique flavor profile.
6. Add some heat: Mix in some diced jalapeños or red pepper flakes for an added kick.
7. Make it a meal: Serve the stir-fry over rice, noodles, or with some crispy wonton strips for a complete meal.
