Ingredients
- 1 cup (100 g) oatmeal
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk of your choice (divided)
- 1 banana
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
- Pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- Ground walnuts for sprinkling
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
- In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of oatmeal and 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa.
- Add a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the mixture.
- Mash the banana and mix it into the oatmeal mixture.
- Pour in 1/4 cup (60 ml) of milk and mix until well combined.
Step 2: Add the Egg and Remaining Milk
- Crack an egg into the mixture and mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Gradually add the remaining 1 cup (240 ml) of milk and stir until the mixture is smooth.
Step 3: Prepare the Cups
- Divide the mixture evenly among coffee cups.
Step 4: Bake the Mug Cakes
- Preheat your oven to 360°F (180°C).
- Place the coffee cups in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 5: Serve
- Once baked, remove the coffee cups from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Sprinkle with ground walnuts for added texture and flavor.
