If you love onion rings but want something easier, creamier, and even more indulgent, then Tennessee Onions are about to be your new favorite dish. This Southern comfort side takes sweet Vidalia onions, layers them in a casserole dish, and bakes them with a cheesy, buttery topping until bubbling and golden. The result? Tender, caramelized onions with a creamy, cheesy crust that tastes like a cross between French onion soup and onion dip—but with none of the frying hassle. Tennessee Onions are perfect for BBQ nights, steak dinners, potlucks, or holiday spreads. They’re addictive, comforting, and yes—better than onion rings!
