Ingredients:
Three mashed, ripe bananas
115g (½ cup) melted unsalted butter
One cup of granulated sugar (200g)
One huge egg that has been beaten
One teaspoon of vanilla extract
One teaspoon of baking soda
Half a teaspoon of salt
190g, or 1½ cups, of all-purpose flour
Optional: 75g (½ cup) of chocolate chips or chopped nuts
Directions:
Set the oven temperature to 175°C (350°F). Coat a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with oil.
Combine the melted butter and mashed bananas in a big bowl and stir to blend.
Add the vanilla extract, sugar, and beaten egg and stir.
Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a another basin. Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture gradually, stirring just until incorporated. Add chocolate chips or nuts, if using.
After the loaf pan is ready, pour the batter into it and level the top.
A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean after baking for 60 to 65 minutes.
After letting the bread cool in the pan for ten or so minutes, move it to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Have fun!
