Yogurt cake

Here’s a simple recipe for a 3-ingredient yogurt cake that has no added sugar and no flour. This cake is naturally sweetened by the yogurt and eggs, making it light, healthy, and perfect for a quick dessert or snack.

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened, full-fat or low-fat)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup cornstarch (or a similar starch like potato starch)

  • For extra flavor, you can add a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon.

Instructions:

 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small cake pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until they’re frothy. Add the yogurt and whisk again until fully combined. Gradually add in the cornstarch, mixing until you have a smooth batter.
  3. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
