Ingredients
Salmon:
- 4 salmon fillets
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Lemon Garlic Sauce:
- 3 tbsp butter (or olive oil)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: pinch chili flakes
Instructions
1. Season salmon
- Pat salmon dry
- Season with salt and pepper
2. Sear salmon
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat
- Place salmon skin-side down
- Cook for 4–5 minutes until crispy
- Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes
- Remove and set aside
3. Make sauce
- In the same pan, melt butter
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds
- Add lemon juice, zest, herbs, and chili flakes
- Stir and simmer for 1–2 minutes
4. Combine
- Return salmon to the pan
- Spoon sauce over the top
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until fully coated
5. Serve
- Garnish with lemon slices and fresh herbs
