I used a batch of zucchini today, sliced them into French fries, mixed them with a basic batter, and then air-fried them. The outcome was a delicious and nutritious appetizer or side dish.
Ingredients
- Two huge courgetti
- One cup of bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- One teaspoon of powdered garlic
- Two huge eggs
- One teaspoon of salt
- Half a teaspoon of black pepper
Directions
- Cut your zucchini into fries by first slicing it in half, then again in half and so on, until you have your zucchini fries.
- Crack the eggs in a bowl and whisk them with a fork.
- Combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a separate bowl.
- Apply cooking spray or olive oil to the basket of your air fryer.
- After dipping the zucchini fries into the bread crumb mixture, dip them into the eggs.
- Put them in the basket of the air fryer while you coat them. Apply cooking spray or olive oil spray once your basket is full (don’t pack it too full).
- Adjust the air fryer’s temperature to 370 degrees Fahrenheit and set the timer for seven minutes. Seven minutes later, flip and spray once again. Put another seven minutes on your timer.
- Verify that they are golden brown. Add a few of minutes if not.
- Serve, plate, and savour!
