Indulge in a flavorful and healthy twist on the popular Bang Bang shrimp dish, now featuring salmon fillets cooked to perfection in the air fryer.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce (I used Frank’s)
- 1 to 2 Tbsps sriracha (more or less depending on spice preference)
- 1 pound salmon (cut into 2 to 4 fillets)
- kosher salt
- Optional: parsley for garnish
Bang Bang Sauce:
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
– 1 tbsp sriracha
– 1 tsp soy sauce
– 1 tsp honey
METHOD:
- In a bowl, mix together the sriracha, sweet chili sauce, and mayo. In a another bowl, place 3/4 of the sauce for dipping. The salmon should be brushed with the majority of the leftover sauce, saving some for midway through cooking.
- Put the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin side down, after seasoning them with kosher salt.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes. Halfway through, brush with more bang bang sauce.
Note: Bake this for 9 to 11 minutes on a baking sheet at 400 degrees.
Serve with the bang bang sauce for dipping, and garnish with parsley if you want.
