Fall Off the Bone BBQ Beef Ribs – Grilled Ribs Recipe
A summer meal would not be complete without well-seasoned beef ribs drenched in luscious barbecue sauce. To achieve the ideal hit, the ribs are patiently roasted at a moderate temperature. It’s delicious, soft, and moist. The next time you have a family get-together, casual meal, or game day, you must not miss this.
Equipment
gas or charcoal grill.
- Oven Thongs: used to occasionally move the ribs sideways
- Use an oven thermometer to determine whether the ribs are done.
- A metal drip pan is necessary to catch the juices that come out of the meat when it bakes or grills.
- Aluminum foil: it keeps the beef from drying out and keeps it wet. It also facilitates the seasoning’s deep penetration into the ribs.
- A mopping instrument or basting brush is required.
Ingredients:
- two beef rib slabs
- Two to four tablespoons of olive oil
- Rub: two tablespoons sugar, dark brown
- Two teaspoons of paprika
- One tsp dried mustard
- One teaspoon of garlic powder
- One teaspoon of onion powder
- A half-tsp cumin powder
- One-half teaspoon salt
- One teaspoon of black pepper
BBQ sauce:
- two teaspoons of garlic powder
- One-fourth cup of apple cider vinegar
- One cup of ketchup
- Five tablespoons of brown sugar
- Two teaspoons of black pepper
- Two teaspoons of onion powder
- Two tablespoons of powdered mustard
- 1 teaspoon of cayenne
- one cup of water or apple juice
Directions:
- Arrange the ribs on a broad platter or a wooden block, remove the membrane, and cut away any surplus fat.
- Massage the ribs with the oil. Then, in a small bowl, combine all the rub ingredients and generously season the ribs by pressing the rub firmly over the ribs. While you make the barbecue sauce, cover with foil.
- Combine all of the barbecue sauce, liberally coat the front and back of the ribs, and refrigerate for at least three hours (or longer, if you have the time). If you’re pressed for time
Grilling method:
- Set up and heat the grill to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.
- On the grill over indirect heat, place the ribs’ meatier side down. Cook, rotating once every 20 minutes, for at least 2 hours. Use barbecue sauce as a basting during the final 10 to 20 minutes of cooking. Warm up and serve.
Oven method:
- Set the oven’s temperature to 325°F (163°C).
- After putting the rib on a pan and covering it with more foil, roast it for two hours in the oven.
- After an hour, or until the internal temperature of the ribs reaches 200°F, remove the foil and continue baking. If you want “fall off the bone” ribs, cook for a further half hour.
