Garlic and Butter Flatbread
Ingredients:
350g all-purpose flour
250g yogurt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 cloves garlic
30g butter
Preparation:
Prepare the Dough:
1. Sift the flour into a large bowl, creating a well in the center.
2. Add yogurt, baking powder, sugar, and salt into the well.
3. Mix togeththe er, gradually incorporating the flour from the sides until fully combined.
Form the Dough Balls:
1. Knead the mixture into a soft dough, then divide into 8 equal-sized balls.
2. Allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
Roll Out Flatbreads:
1. Roll each ball into a thin disk.
2. Stack them with a sheet of baking paper between each to prevent sticking.
Cooking:
1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat (level 7-8 out of 9).
2. Lightly oil the pan and cook each flatbread for about one minute on each side.
Garlic Butter Topping:
1. Once cooked, generously grease each flatbread with butter.
2. Rub with sliced garlic cloves or sprinkle chopped garlic over the hot flatbreads.
