Homemade Sweet Chocolate with Milk
Ingredients:
- 600ml Milk
- 160-170g Sugar (Use 170g for sweeter chocolate)
- 15g Butter
- 5-6 drops Vanilla Essence (optional)
- 130g Cocoa Powder
Instructions:
- Start by making condensed milk:
- In a saucepan, add 160-170g sugar and heat over medium-low heat.
- Stir and melt the sugar until it completely dissolves.
- Once the sugar is melted, add 15g butter and 5-6 drops of vanilla essence (if desired).
- Keep stirring to prevent sticking, and let it boil until it turns yellow and thickens.
- Turn off the heat and let the condensed milk cool.
- Place the condensed milk in a bowl and sift in 100g of cocoa powder. Mix until it forms a smooth mass.
- Add another 30g of cocoa powder and mix thoroughly. The mixture may become dry, but keep mixing until it forms a uniform chocolate mixture.
- Lay a piece of plastic wrap on a plate. Place the chocolate mixture on it and flatten it with a gentle tap.
- Wrap it up and freeze for about 40 minutes until it becomes cold and firm.
- After 40 minutes, remove from the freezer, dust the chocolate with cocoa powder, and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- Arrange the chocolate pieces on a plate, and you can also sprinkle cocoa powder on top for a decorative touch.
- Enjoy your homemade sweet chocolate, perfect for gifting or indulging in!
