200 g flour (1 ⅔ cups)
8 g baking powder (1½ teaspoons)

Instructions
Prepare the Batter
Crack the egg into a bowl, adding a pinch of salt and a dash of vanilla extract.
Whisk in the sugar until the mixture is light and frothy.
Add the vegetable oil and milk, and whisk until well combined.
Incorporate the Dry Ingredients
Sift together the flour and baking powder, then gently fold them into the wet mixture until smooth and lump-free.
Prepare the Apple
Peel, core, and grate or finely chop the apple.
If you prefer extra sweetness, toss the apple pieces in a little sugar and cinnamon (optional).

Lightly grease a frying pan or griddle and heat over medium heat.
Pour the batter onto the pan in small circles (about ¼ cup per pancake).
Cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface. Flip and cook the other side for 2 more minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve
Serve warm with maple syrup, honey, or a dollop of yogurt for a simple yet delicious treat.
Serving Suggestions
Drizzle with maple syrup or honey.
Top with whipped cream, yogurt, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a more indulgent treat.
Cooking Tips
Use a tart apple like Granny Smith for a contrast in sweetness, or a sweeter apple like Fuji if you prefer.
For extra flavor, add cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice to the batter.
You can also mix in chopped nuts or raisins for added texture.
